‘National Assembly crisis may sink APC‘

The  Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh, has cautioned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to resolve their internal crisis before it inevitably destroys the party. Primate Okoh gave the advice in Ondo State when the Bishop of Akure Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rt. Revd. Simeon Borokini, led a delegation to welcome him at Ilara-Mokin, emphasising that the crisis is adversely affecting the nation.

He expressed his condemnation of corruption in the country, enjoining all and sundry to harmonise all efforts towards stamping out the hydra-headed monster from the Nigerian polity. According to him: “Corruption is bad, it is a bad thing because it makes it possible for some people to take more than their due share of what should go round the people.” Okoh, who is also the chairman of the
Christian Pilgrims Commission, enjoined all Nigerians to “join hands to say that corruption is bad and ensure that we reduce it to the barest minimum. Whichever we look at it: corruption, indiscipline, impunity are all factors that contribute to our degeneration and lack of progress.”
