The accident was caused by a burst tyre suffered by the Mazda bus. it was discovered that the bus was speeding up when the tyre burst which makes the driver to lose control and hit with the sienna going toward Osogbo. It was also reported that no fewer than 11 passengers were also said to have suffered injuries in the crash
