A 20 years old primary school teacher Collins Obi was
arrested yesterday for raping his student, a 10 years old boy at Ibadan. The public
relation officer Adekunle Ajisebutu narrated that the sodomy was committed on
November 5, 2016.
He also said that apart from the suspect being the boy
teacher, he is also the boy personal teacher. The suspect confessed that he lured
the little boy to a house in the Asaka Itamaya area of Ibadan. Relation officer
said the arrest was made possible when the victim’s mother reported to the
police at the Iyaganku police station Ibadan.
Currently the little boy is receiving medical treatment at
one of the hospital in Ibadan and the
victim would be charged to court immediately on the order of the state commissioner
of police, Samuel Adegbuyi. The suspect also confessed to the crime and said he
was introduced to the act by an older friend.
