Chidima Ekile, popularly known by her stage name Chidnma, is a Nigeria singer and a song writer too. she happened to be the sixth of seven children and was born in Ketu, Kosofe, Lagos State. Her both parents are from Imo State.
She started singing right from the age of 6yrs and later joined her church choir when she was 10yrs old. Her excellence performance in the church choir paved way for her to be a great singer and surely she is.
> Chidinma did her primary and secondary education on Ketu and later moved to University of Lagos to obtain a degree in Mass Communication.
In 2010, she rose to stardom after she emerge the winner of the third season of Project Fame West Africa.
In line with the release of her music video "Emi Ni Baller", she totally became the first female musician to peak at number 1 on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart. 2011, veteran singer Chidinma released her first solo single "jakoliko" featuring sound sultan.
To crown it all, chidinma is truly an African queen and has made Nigeria proud in many ways. She has won may awards including the Best Female West African Act at the 2012 Kora Awards and performed "Kedike" at the ceremony.
