Despite The Anti-Open Grazing Law, Herds Of Cattle Seen Roaming In Makurdi

Some Fulani herdsmen violated the Anti-Open Grazing Law and they were spotted Wednesday with their cattle around North Bank area of Markurdi.
This was made known when an activist took to Facebook to share a post and wrote: "THIS IS NORTH BANK MAKURDII just saw these cows with the herdsmen passing in front of the police station and the check Points. My point is should I have come down to report to the police there? I made a post about this same spot last week where these herdsmen made their way again in front of the police station and some people in their comments said I should have reported to the security. They are in front of the security so who should I report to now again?"

It would be recalled that the Anti-Open Grazing prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law was signed by Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on May 22 and went into effect on November 1, 2017.
