N-Power second batch of successful applicants announced
Vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo has expressed that 10,392 alumni from Oyo State have been shortlisted for the second clump of N-Power scheme booked to commence in July.
Osinbajo made the exposure in Ibadan on Tuesday at the National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Clinic co-facilitated by the Office of Vice President and Oyo State Government.
He expressed that 9,220 volunteers profited in the main cluster of the plan, including it was one of the social monetary mediations of the Federal Government domiciled in his office.
Osinbajo recorded different projects under his office to incorporate the Conditional Cash Transfer, Home Grown School Feeding Program and Government Enterprise Empowerment Programme(GEEP).
The Vice President said President Muhammadu Buhari has coordinated that the GEEP program be extended to cater for little scale endeavors.
"We are sustaining 230,000 students, we have additionally utilized 2,363 cooks in the state, while 14,529 families are profiting in the Conditional Cash Transfer.
"It is the desire for Mr President that we ought to widen openings and make it accessible to each Nigerian," he said.
