What Would be Your Reaction if Your Neigbour Should Hit Your Wife

What will be your reaction assuming you walked into your home and your wife told you that your neighbor beat her?

For me, I don't think anybody has the right to touch my wife no matter what. First of all, I will try and find out what happened and what led to the fight before taking any action.

The facts still remain she is my wife and if I don't lay my hands on her, no man has the right to abuse her.
