Senate has suspended the screening of the ministerial nominees, in order to go on a short break. The suspension call was made by Senate President Ahmad Lawan who suggested that they resume at 2.30pm.

Before the suspension, the Upper Chamber had screened four out of the 43 names submitted to them by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.

Those so far screened are: Dr. Ukechukwu Ogah, (Abia), Emeka Nwajiuba (Imo), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) and George Akume (Benue).
