Protest at nkpor as a police officer accidentally kill a young man (See photos)

A Rights group, Anambra State Crime Free Campaign and Security Orientation has urged people demonstrating at Nkpor new parts not to take the laws into their hands.

Reports are sketchy about what led to the demonstration although online reports said a young man was accidentally killed by police attached to Okpoko Police Station.

However, in a statement, the Force PPRO, Anambra Police Command, Mr Haruna Mohamed said what happened was an unprovoked attack on Police patrol team with substance suspected to be ACID by some miscreants. According to him, “efforts are ongoing to restore sanity in the area please”.
