In 2016, it was reported that the veteran actress had her planned marital ceremony with her basketball agent beau, Ugochukwu Udezue cancelled at
the last minute after the level of secrecy of the event caused a
disagreement. The wedding was called off when Genevieve and her friends were already in Italy.
According to Stargist, Genevieve Nnaji who was out of the country
recently had a secret wedding in Portugal to avoid the prying eyes of
the media.
