Police Arrested Father and Son For Selling Tramadol To Primary School Students In Lagos State





Lagos Police Command Rapid Response Squad has arrested father and son for selling of Tramadol and other hard drugs to primary and secondary school pupils in Itire area of Lagos.
 
The father, identified as Ibrahim Sheu and his 23-year-old son, Franku Ibrahim were arrested on Friday, March 2, 2018 after officials of the Office of Education and Quality Assurance, Lagos State alerted the Rapid Response Squad officers about the incident.

Report had it that the traders have been selling tramadol and other hard drugs to some of the school pupils in the area.72 pieces of Tramadol capsules, 8 tablets of Tramol and some other capsules were recovered from them


During  interrogation, the father, Ibrahim Sheu, who initially denied selling hard drugs to pupils, later confessed that they sold hard drugs to pupils and adults too.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal confirming their arrest, advised parents and guardians to always know their children’s activities in schools and the kind of friends they associated with.

Edgal added that the case would be thoroughly investigated and the prosecution monitored, while the suspects have been transferred to the SCID for further investigation.
