Enugu state airport project will be delayed – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed on Wednesday that the terminal of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu will be deferred.
He said this was because of the lessening in the cost of the repair by 75 percent.
The President revealed this on his official Twitter handle, following the marking of the 2018 spending plan in Abuja.
He tweeted, "The arrangement for development of the terminal working at the Enugu airplane terminal was sliced from N2bn to N500m, which will additionally defer the finish of this basic undertaking."
The Federal Government had a couple of years back, chose to give the Enugu air terminal a facelift, with present-day offices to draw in more flights, following its move up to a worldwide air terminal.
The Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, had said amid an ongoing office voyage through the air terminal that when modernized, it would pull in multi-billion naira interests in Enugu State.
